ExoHip

So I had a hip replacement. It’s a big op where they cut off the top of your femur and replace it with a ceramic one. But why? Because the bone is sorta damaged and there’s no cartledge it between the two bones. What if you could take the pressure off using an exo skeleton? Like it’s just creating an external transfer of forces that takes it from the hip to the femur but skips the actual joint. It might enable people to avoid hip surgery.
