Similar to the last post, I’m trying to avoid invasive hip replacements. In this solution though, two membranes with embedded magnets are implanted so that one membrane on the hip repels one membrane on the head of the femur. The great thing about magnetic repulsion is that there is no friction. So what you end up with is a joint that moves smoothly, and reduces impact on the already stressed bones.
